Accountancy

Chartered Accountants

David Evans FCA (Principal) leads the team. A tax specialist with 30 years professional experience and a dynamic approach to business, David gives cutting-edge financial, tax and business development advice to clients. He also ensures that our accountancy software systems are second-to-none.

When out of the office, David is a passionate landscape photographer, and can usually be found on the hills.

Yvonne Milne-Redhead ACA is an experienced Chartered Accountant specialising in accounts preparation and tax. Yvonne has worked with Evans Accountants for many years, and is a highly valued member of the team.

Trainee Chartered Accountants

James Evans B.A. Hons. (Manchester) AAT joined the business after graduating in 2006. James is developing his experience and knowledge, and working hard for professional exams. A friendly and sociable person, he particularly enjoys networking.

He's responsible for our popular Twitter feed @Evansaccountant, our Fantasy Football league, and is a founder member of the BNI (Business Network International) Burnley Friday breakfast group. If you'd like an introduction to the group, please get in touch with James.

Hannah Thompson AAT joined the business straight from school, and is currently working steadily through professional exams. Her accountancy experience and tax knowledge are growing all the time, and she enjoys building excellent working relationships with our clients. When away from her books, Hannah loves swimming and surfing.

Administration

Sandra Sowerbutts has a wealth of local knowledge and previous experience in banking. She effectively supports the accountancy team, welcomes clients and keeps her finger on the pulse of our business. Sandra is a Xero accounts software expert and trainer, and is beginning her AAT studies in 2011.

Creative Consultancy

Ann Evans B.Ed. Hons. (Lancaster) regularly contributes to our development, management, business identity and marketing. Ann is an inspiring professional artist and mentor with a passion for painting, photography and permaculture.
