This page is specifically for businesses involved in the reprocessing or export of packaging waste.

The Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Regulations 2007 (‘Packaging Regulations’) and the the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations (2006) (WEEE Regulations) both set out a requirement for operators who are accredited (packaging) or approved (WEEE) to provide an Independent Audit Report to the Environment Agency.

We have detailed knowledge and understanding of the requirements of our clients in the waste reprocessing and waste exporting industries, and the reporting requirments in respect of ePRNs and ePERNs.

We have carried out the required work, and produced the detailed reports for our clients, for the past three years.

We understand the necessity for working within the strict timescale stipulated by the Environment Agency, and the necessity to have the work and report completed by the end of February.

Sometimes our work in this area is for clients where we do not deal with the mainstream accounting and tax affairs, and in this situation we are happy to respect their business relationship with the other accountants, and restrict our work purely to that required by under the regulations.

In all our work we recognise that our clients have businesses to run, and we take every step possible to ensure that our work is carried out with the least disruption to our clients’ day to day work.
