Covid-19 Precautionary Measures
As you will be aware, the situation regarding Covid-19 is changing on a daily basis. First and foremost, the health of the team here, our clients and their businesses is our primary consideration. We are fortunate to have used a secure off-site server for a number of years and this facilitates seamless working from home under challenging circumstances such as now. We have stringent security measures in place to prevent access to our server from outside the office. With the above being considered, Evans Accountants are taking the following precautionary measures, in line with current government recommended advice. After today, everyone except one member of our team will be working from home. There will be one person remaining in the office during our normal office hours and we ask anyone who is dropping off information or accounting records, to knock on the office door, rather than entering directly please. The person in the office will be answering phone calls and we have the facility to forward calls directly to team members’ mobile numbers. For everyone’s safety, we are stopping all face to face meetings until further notice. We will use Facetime or similar instead. In most respects it will be business as usual at Evans Accountants, but with extra care for us all. Be assured that we will continue to assist our clients to meet all statutory obligations and filing deadlines, together with payroll, VAT returns and bookkeeping. We will also continue to offer our full range of advisory services. A further newsletter will be sent to you later this week about sources of help for small and medium sized businesses as announced in last week’s budget and subsequently. James, David and all the team send all clients, contacts and friends our very best wishes during this challenging time.
